Rob Wenger, Chief Executive Officer
Rob is a successful entrepreneur and business executive with an outstanding 18 year track record in building, growing and leading high-tech companies. Rob currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Higher Logic.
Prior to Higher Logic, Rob co-founded and served as Chief Technology Officer for two technology firms, Active Matter, a web design and development firm that exclusively focused on the not-for-profit market and WaveFront Consulting, an information technology consulting firm. Each firm quickly grew to profitability which led to each being acquired, WaveFront in 1998 and Active Matter in 2003. Following the acquisition of his companies, Rob held executive roles at First Consulting Group, Inc.(Stock:FCGI) and Advanced Solutions International (ASI). While at ASI, Rob served as the Principal Product Architect and designed the next generation of their popular association management software named iMIS. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
Andy Steggles, President
Andy can be seen all across the world spreading the message on the importance of social media. He is a frequent speaker at association and nonprofit events and conferences, and ongoing contributor to ASAE events and publications. His recently published book, Social Networking For Nonprofits, is an ASAE best seller.
Prior to Higher Logic, Andy was the Chief Information Officer of the Risk & Insurance Management Society, Inc. (RIMS) where he headed their social strategy and other initiatives over a 10 year period. Mr. Steggles was also the founder of the Social Networking and Media Association, a non-profit dedicated to advancing the social web. Andy has also authored numerous software products such as SitePRTracker, CopyTester and more for the search engine optimization (SEO) community which he has a strong interest. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing in Business from Brunel University in the United Kingdom.
Ben Goodkind, Chief Operating Officer
Ben has implemented strategic business applications across a wide range of industries for the past 20 years. At Higher Logic, Ben’s responsibilities include client implementation and support, technical operations and product management.
Prior to Higher Logic, Ben was the Vice President of Strategic Applications for a Hong Kong based, multi-national company included in the Hang Seng Index and held leadership positions in both large and small consulting companies. Ben’s experience includes developing custom software applications, software products and managing large ERP implementations for both the commercial and nonprofit markets. Ben holds a computer science degree from Brown University.
Mark Lowry, Chief Revenue Officer
Mark has been working with association and nonprofits for 15 years, helping them show a return on investment in their technology projects. Mark currently serves as the Chief Revenue Officer at Higher Logic. Mark's responsibilities include sales, marketing, partnerships, collections, and contract negotiations.
Prior to Higher Logic, Mark was a successful sales manager at two leading membership management system providers- Avectra and Advanced Solutions International. Mark and several other Higher Logic team members worked together at Active Matter, a web development firm focused on associations. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in HNFE from Virginia Tech.
Conor Sibley, Chief Technology Officer
Conor has been involved with e-commerce and business enabling technology since the 1990s. His in-depth knowledge of software and technology comes from designing and implementing emerging technologies as an executive at startups, consulting with Fortune 500 organizations and contracting with various branches of the military and intelligence community. He has consulted with small business to bolster sales via acquisition and frequently is a guest lecturer on starting new businesses and loves judging business plan competitions.
In the past he served as a Network Security Engineer with BBN Technologies, the organization that architected the Internet and first e-mail technologies. Conor graduated with a B.S. from the University of Virginia after completing the requirements for both Electrical and Computer Engineering and he received his MBA from University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business.
