MemberAd Manager

Talented and motivated advertising sales professional needed as we grow our MemberAd™ team.  MemberAd is a unique advertising service for private social networks.  Member-based organizations can use the MemberAd service to leverage the value of their professional, online community and generate significant non-dues revenue, via a turn-key advertising solution which helps organizations develop a customized online advertising strategy.

Location:  DC Metro

Employment Status:  Full Time

Job Description:

Work with Higher Logic clients on developing their Advertising strategies.  This includes reviewing ad layouts, assembling pricing and packages, identifying current and potential sponsors and implementing appropriate timelines.

Prospect for new advertisers while also developing relationships with existing sponsors.

Present in person or over the phone, new opportunities to drive advertising revenue.

Provide all account management and support responsibilities for sponsors and advertisers.  This will include creating accounts and campaigns in our Ad Server, launching campaigns, managing campaigns, data reporting and campaign reviews. 

Maintain and update all new client and new advertiser opportunities in Salesforce.com.

Job Requirements:  2-4 years advertising sales experience.  Online media sales experience is very beneficial.  Proven track record of hitting sales goals.  College degree is preferred.

CSS/HTML Junior Web Developer

This is a junior position offering fast growth and opportunities to contribute in many areas.  You must be a self-starter and highly competent in web design technologies. Join our web implementation team and help our subscribers launch award winning websites. 

Essential Job Functions:
  • Execute website creative from site mock-ups.
  • Create visually appealing and UI centric conceptual designs for an addictive and captivating on-line experience.
  • Maintain and ensure that the brand remains consistent
  • Stay current of new web design technologies.
  • Possess a strong understanding in web technologies, analytics and standards.
Essential Job Qualifications:
  • Exceptional multi-tasking.
  • Ability to work independently but have a team attitude.
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail for all facets of work.
Technical Requirements:
  • Fluent in HTML/XHTML; an extensive knowledge of CSS;and understanding of debug tools.
  • A competent understanding of semantic markup and CSS standards, cross-browser compatibility.
  • Proficiency with Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
  • A working knowledge of Javascript and Flash is not required, but would be helpful.

Higher Logic is looking to grow its sales team. We are looking for individuals with a successful sales track record and are eager to join a fast paced and growing company with incredible opportunities for individual growth.

Customer Success Representative

The ideal candidate is a recent college graduate with an interest in technology and social media.  This position reports to the Director of Client Services and requires in-depth expertise with the Higher Logic Connected Community software products.  Higher Logic will provide Connected Community product training.  Candidate must be well organized with excellent communication and project management skills. Experience in technical writing is preferred. The successful candidate will assist and train the Higher Logic user community and take an active role in the customer success team. This position is a telecommuting position where the person will work from home.

Experience in the Association or Non-Profit community is preferred.
