As National Volunteer Month wraps up, we want to celebrate members of Higher Logic's “orange army” who volunteered their time in their communities! 🧡 Joanna Luth, Mark Griffith, and Matt Armstrong M.S., CIR, CDR volunteered at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul's food distribution center. This organization operates and runs over 80 community food pantries, and the location Joanna, Mark, and Matt worked with serves 40-60 families every day. 🧡 Katie Labarta volunteered with Tennis for Fun, a free tennis clinic for people of all ages with special needs, where they learn tennis skills and socialize. The site is also an official Special Olympics training site and many of the athletes compete in the state Special Olympics. 🧡 Sarah Spinosa and her family volunteered with Girl Scouts of the USA on Earth Day to plant trees in Leopold’s Preserve. 🧡 Alexis Kattwinkel, M.Ed. volunteers once a week at an animal shelter in Denver, CO. Check out some recent highlights she shared 🐶. 🧡 Cate Sauer volunteered for the Chicago Humanities Festival, a non-profit organization that supports culture, creativity, and connection, through events and experiences. Cate helped with an event where Former Supreme Court Justice Breyer spoke at a public school. Did you get a chance to volunteer this month? Tell us about it in the comments! 👇 --- #AllTogether #NationalVolunteerMonth

Associations are people-centered - and though it might seem counterintuitive, your ability to connect with people has a lot to do with your technology tools. To thrive in a digital age, associations need to harness the power of technology to meet members where they are, personalize the member experience, and streamline operations. Your "tech stack" (which is just a fancy word for the technology you use) is what makes that possible. Each component is a building block for creating a robust and member-centric ecosystem. Join Higher Logic for our upcoming Technology Showcase on May 7 at 2 PM ET (11 AM PT) to explore how our best-in-class technology partners can help you maximize member engagement. 💡 Discover an all-in-one solution to manage your association’s submission and review process, powered by OpenWater 💡 See how Association Analytics can unlock member insights like never before. 💡Streamline achieving, maintaining, verifying, and delivering a credential, certification, or certificate program, powered by Cloud Generation. 💡 Learn how to facilitate member career development and generate non-dues revenue with the job board that enhances your Higher Logic Community, powered by Web Scribble. Our expert panel will share insider tips and best practices - and answer questions. Whether you're just curious about what's out there, or have a specific problem to solve, this webinar is just for you! Register at the link below 👇. --- #associations #technology #memberengagement

Higher Logic reposted this
I help companies drive growth from their existing customers. Retention l Adoption l Expansion l Advocacy. A relentlessly positive potentialist. My three be’s are: be kind, be curious, be a good human.
Big heartfelt thank you to Heather Wendt of Gain Grow Retain and Megan Langley of Higher Logic for hosting an insightful and fun-filled gathering of CS professional in the SF Bay Area last night. So grateful to be on the panel with Rod Cherkas, Dan Ennis and Vanessa Gatihi where we got to share our perspectives on: 💡the changes in the expectations for the role of CSMs and CS leaders over the past 6-12 months and what skills are critical to learn right now. 🔎 the initiatives we've tried that has had the greatest impact on the business results. 💵 processes and strategies that we've used to successfully identify and leverage expansion opportunities within our existing customer base. The conversation continued with small group discussions where the attendees got to share their perspectives as well. To top it off, we got to celebreate the launch of Rod's second book, REACH, and all the attendees received a signed copy of the book. Bonus!! The best part for me was seeing my friends in person and meeting new professionals in the CS community. We all live busy lives, so to be able to gather for an evening of learning and sharing is really special. I look forward to more 1:1 conversations in the coming weeks and can't wait for the next CS gathering. Jamie Bordewyk Elizabeth Blass 🌻Annie Dean Marilyn Lin Shaun P. Joseph D. Lee Alex J. Thank you to everyone who joined Higher Logic and Gain Grow Retain this week for GGR Live!
Huge shout out to Heather Wendt and the entire Gain Grow Retain and Higher Logic team for an incredible night learning and networking with SF Bay Area Customer Success professionals this week. It was a privilege to join Sandy Yu and Vanessa Gatihi on the panel moderated by Rod Cherkas where we talked about a topic on so many leaders' minds: How to keep CS's seat at the table in the current macroeconomic climate. We discussed: -Strategies for CS to own top line revenue growth 💰 -Creative ways to leverage AI to boost productivity and customer outcomes 🤖 -Digital and Scaled motions to reduce cost to serve and improve customer experience ⚖️ And the conversation at the breakout tables was just as exciting as the panel. It was so encouraging to hear how so many really talented and smart CS leaders in the Bay are tackling the evolving challenges head on. But the best part of any event like this: the people! Whether it was seeing old friends again like Maranda Dziekonski (she/her), Elizabeth Blass 🌻, Emilia D'Anzica, MBA, PMP, Russell Bourne, Alex J. Hong, Joseph D. Lee, Annie Dean and others. Or meeting exciting new people like Shaun P., Aaron Torres, Mark Presto, Veronica Dasovich, Victoria Munneke, Steve Schwartz, Golriz Rezaei and all the rest. Despite all the doom and gloom you sometimes see posted about the future of CS, nights like Wednesday remind just how much opportunity for impact there is for strategic leaders who are evolving their strategies to meet the changing times. Thanks again to all who came out, and congrats Rod on the launch of Reach! #Networking #CustomerSuccess #SaaS #Leadersip #GGRLive
