Travel: Occasional travel possible

Position Summary

The Sales Solutions Advisor is responsible for the entire sales cycle, from generating new prospects through contract signature. This is a full-time position based out of Higher Logic’s Arlington, VA office.

Major Responsibilities

  • Generate new clients through cold calling and networking within a defined market
  • Strategically target, qualify, contact and close new business prospects
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date list of all sales pipeline activity, including leads, prospects, forecasts, demographic profiling information, prospect contact information and account planning information in SalesForce
  • Maintain the highest level of expertise on Higher Logic’s features, functionality, pricing and implementation timeline
  • Deliver tailored online web presentations to prospects
  • Create, negotiate and close contract agreements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies and marketing information
  • Meet or exceed annual sales quota
  • Attend industry functions, events and conferences

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Experience working with Salesforce preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience
