Kevin Boyce, Higher Logic CEO

Kevin Boyce, Chief Executive Officer

Kevin has more than 20 years of experience as a technology executive working to drive success for public and private sector customers around the globe. Previously, he was the chief operating officer at Ellucian, the number one global provider of software and services to higher education, where he led the global services, customer success, cloud, and enterprise project management teams, as well as Ellucian’s global partnerships and corporate development activities. He also played a senior role in its strategic growth and go-to-market initiatives.

Kevin served as Ellucian’s CFO from 2007 to 2017. During his tenure, Kevin successfully grew the business from 500 employees and $100 million in revenues to over 3,000 employees and over $750 million in global revenues. He successfully executed multiple sale and recapitalization transactions with an aggregate value greater than $4.5 billion.

Prior to joining Ellucian, Mr. Boyce served as vice president of finance for North America for Culligan International. He was the lead financial executive of six business lines with combined revenues of approximately $500 million. Mr. Boyce also held a number of financial positions at JPMorgan Chase Vastera, completing his tenure as chief financial officer.

In 2010 and 2016, the Northern Virginia Technology Council of Greater Washington DC named Kevin the Private Company Chief Financial Officer of the Year, and in 2015 he was named a Trending 40: Top Tech Chief Financial Officer by Bisnow. He holds a degree from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

Rob Wenger, Higher Logic CEO

Rob Wenger, Executive Chairman & Co-Founder

Rob is a successful entrepreneur and business executive with an outstanding 19-year track record in building, growing and leading high-tech companies. As Executive Chairman and former CEO of Higher Logic, his customers' success is always top of mind. He works to positively impact each of Higher Logic’s customers using smart, collaborative technology.

Prior to Higher Logic, Rob co-founded and served as Chief Technology Officer for two technology firms, Active Matter, a web design and development firm that exclusively focused on the not-for-profit market and WaveFront Consulting, an information technology consulting firm.

Each firm quickly grew to profitability which led to each being acquired, WaveFront in 1998 and Active Matter in 2003. Following the acquisition of his companies, Rob held executive roles at First Consulting Group, Inc. (Stock:FCGI) and Advanced Solutions International (ASI).

Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and a Certificate in Franchise Management from Georgetown University.

Richard Henderson, Higher Logic CRO

Richard Henderson, Chief Revenue Officer

Richard oversees global sales for all markets across Higher Logic. He excels at organizational leadership in order to quickly and efficiently recruit and develop quality teams, while driving profitable revenue growth and implementing successful go-to-market strategy. Prior to Higher Logic, he was the CRO for STATS LLC, the world’s leading sports data and technology firm. Responsible for global sales and marketing, Henderson transformed STATS’ go-to-market model to improve customer engagement, sales productivity, and marketing effectiveness.

Previously, Henderson led his own advisory firm, HIS consulting, which supported growth-stage B2B businesses develop effective and sustainable sales and customer success practices. He also held a series of senior leadership roles for the Corporate Executive Board (NYSE: CEB), a global best-practice insight and technology firm, as the business grew from $30M to $900M in annual revenues. During his time at CEB, Henderson successfully led more than 15 new product launches in addition to the commercial integration of new acquisitions.

A dual US and UK national, Henderson holds a B.A. in Management Science from Cambridge University in the UK.

Vince Zumbo, Higher Logic CFO

Vince Zumbo, Chief Financial Officer

Vince brings over 30 years of financial management experience in the private equity backed high technology industry. As Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for all aspects of financial leadership to further enable the continued impressive growth Higher Logic has experienced. A results driven senior financial executive, Vince has a proven track record of value creation in rapid growth financial and operations management. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and international operations.

Most recently, Vince was Chief Financial Officer of Autotask, Inc., a SaaS based global provider of management software for managed service providers acquired by Vista Equity Partners. Prior to Autotask, Vince was CFO of Hatteras Networks, (merged with Overture Networks); ServiceBench, (acquired by NEW); and Formtek, (acquired by Lockheed Martin).

Vince has a Bachelors in Business Administration in Accounting from Siena College, Loudonville New York.

Ann Burns, Higher Logic CHRO

Ann Burns, Chief Human Resource Officer

Ann has a superior track record of establishing, scaling, and leading top-performing global human resources strategies, plans, and operations that align with business objectives. With a focus on hiring and retaining top talent, she elevates employee engagement, enriches company culture, and champions diversity by launching innovative HR programs and building highly insightful, talented teams. As Higher Logic’s Chief Human Resources Officer, Ann and her team focus on high-growth and scalability as business imperatives to integrate optimal people, processes, and systems for operational excellence. She is responsible for building on Higher Logic’s dynamic culture to ensure employee growth, motivation, and engagement in line with business results.

Most recently, Ann was the Vice President of Human Resources at Tenable Network Security, where she devised and executed the global human resources strategy to enable aggressive business growth for the fast-paced SaaS company in 20 countries with over 850 employees. Prior to Tenable Network Security, Ann was the Vice President, Human Resources for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC).

Ann has a Master of Science degree in Organizational Development and Strategic Human Resources from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Towson University.

Conor Sibley, Higher Logic CIO

Conor Sibley, Chief Technology Officer

Conor has been designing business enabling technology for over 20 years. His in-depth knowledge comes from his experience as a software executive, acting in an advisory role to successful technology businesses, contracting with the military and intelligence community and investing in startups.

Conor puts his knowledge to work at Higher Logic, where he leads the development and delivery of internet scale solutions with clients’ needs in mind.

In the past he served as a Network Security Engineer with BBN Technologies, the organization that architected the Internet and first e-mail technologies. Conor graduated with a B.S. from the University of Virginia in Computer Engineering and he received his MBA from University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business.

Hunter Montgomery, Higher Logic CMO

Hunter Montgomery, Chief Marketing Officer

Hunter is a highly accomplished global marketing executive with over 20 years of experience in the management and leadership of marketing and business operations. Currently, Hunter is responsible for overall marketing strategy and provides direction in positioning and messaging, demand generation, branding, public relations and customer engagement to ultimately help clients connect with Higher Logic’s intuitive software platform.

Prior to Higher Logic Hunter was the Vice President of Marketing at Vocus, Inc. where he was responsible for planning and budgeting, sales and marketing alignment, analytics and reporting, data governance and strategy, marketing systems, and campaign marketing.  Prior to that role, Hunter was responsible for all demand generation and ecommerce programs at Vocus.

Hunter has spent a majority of his career in the high-tech industry where he has successfully lead marketing efforts through start-up, survival, turnaround and growth modes. Hunter graduated from Colgate University where he earned a BA in History and earned a MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.

Ed English, Higher Logic CPO

Ed English, Chief Product Officer

For the past fifteen years, Ed has led product teams that brought new concepts to market and created software used by hundreds of millions of users. As Higher Logic’s Chief Product Officer Ed and his team are responsible for product management, user experience and design, and data analytics.

Ed’s prior experience includes executive roles with early and mid-stage technology companies, including Datamythic (a data science firm), APX (enterprise software) and netVmg (network routing software). In addition, Ed was the Director of Product Management for SharePoint at Microsoft, during which time it generated tremendous growth in revenue and users and established itself as the global leader in market share, product usage, and customer satisfaction. Early in his career Ed worked as a strategy consultant with Deloitte.

Ed has a MBA from Indiana University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Science/Operations Research from Virginia Tech.

Heather McNair, Higher Logic VP of Engagement Strategy

Heather McNair, Chief Community Officer

Heather is a well-regarded thought leader with 20 years of marketing, technology, community management, customer acquisition and retention experience. She is adept at leveraging technology to increase customer engagement and is a frequent speaker and writer in the industry.

At Higher Logic, Heather is focused on redefining the client success model, with community as the keystone alongside education, support, and client services. Prior to this current role, Heather was Director of Client Success, then Vice President of Engagement Strategy, where she built and expanded the Managed Services and Education teams.

Previously, Heather launched and managed two successful communities in her roles as vice president of marketing, membership and strategic technologies at the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination, and senior manager of member engagement at the Medical Group Management Association. MGMA’s community launched in 2008 at the early onset of online communities for the association space, and many techniques Heather founded from that launch emerged as foundational best practices for Higher Logic clients today.

Heather earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from California State University, Fresno.

Bettina Fowler, Higher Logic VP of Client Operations

Bettina Fowler, Vice President of Client Operations

Bettina is responsible for Higher Logic’s global client operations across products and services, overseeing all implementation and support teams and processes. These teams are responsible for the implementation, launch, support, and training of new and existing Higher Logic clients.

Prior to Higher Logic, Bettina worked in the federal contracting space, focusing on SaaS for federal clients’ financial and asset management. Previously, she managed implementations, with a focus in federal procurement and asset management, for the United States Coast Guard, Transportation Security Administration, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Department of Labor. These implementations included the migration of legacy data, requirements planning and verification, maintenance, new development, and continued support.

Bettina has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.
