2017 is shaping up to be our best year yet! Last month we announced our acquisition of Socious, bringing the best minds in member engagement together to lead in product innovation and the community industry. Now we can’t wait to introduce the newest member of the Higher Logic community family: we have acquired Kavi, an online collaboration software company.
For those who aren’t familiar with Kavi, they’re an online collaboration company that offers the premier solution for managing the development of standards and specifications. We’re looking forward to incorporating Kavi’s Workspace tool into the Higher Logic community platform.

Workspace, Kavi’s Powerful Collaboration Tool
We did this acquisition to provide powerful project collaboration for community users, combining Higher Logic’s dynamic discussions with Kavi’s structured document management.
Our community platform already offers transparency, mission-driven interactions, and knowledge sharing – Workspace will further help community members adapt and refine their projects and goals. It has the capability to improve long-term document collaboration for any committee, working group, task force, or organization, and this tool is a natural fit for Higher Logic’s already strong community platform offering. It includes capabilities such as versioning, voting and ballots, and library resources that fit seamlessly in the community ecosystem.
Community and Collaboration
Workspace is a one-of-a-kind solution. We think it’s a great addition to our platform, because it gets members working together online and is a natural extension of our community software.
We’re excited to offer more collaboration tools, making it easier to track projects, community activity, and networking all in one system.
