Higher Logic Announces its 2023 Champions of Community
Winners recognized for their innovation and commitment to driving experience and outcomes through community
ARLINGTON, VA (March 15, 2023) – Higher Logic, the industry-leading, human focused engagement platform, is pleased to announce the winners of its 2023 Champions of Community Awards. These annual awards recognize Higher Logic B2B and B2C corporate customers that are driving memorable experiences and business outcomes through the power of community.

This year’s Champions of Community award winners were recognized in five categories: Best Community Design, Community of the Year, Industry Innovator, Most Valuable Community Champion, and Most Valuable Community Manager.
Best Community Design – Quantexa Community
Recently launched in November 2022, the Quantexa Community is currently focused on building its foundation through membership growth. The overall design of the community is built around the member experience with an intuitive home page that is tailored to individual persona journeys. Additionally, Quantexa has developed custom design features to highlight community experiences. Through its purposeful approach to design, Quantexa is already halfway to its first-year goal of 2,000 community members.
Community of the Year – Bitdefender Expert Community
Relaunched in 2022, the Bitdefender Expert Community is an environment where Bitdefender customers, enthusiasts and fans come together to engage, exchange ideas, support one another and share their insights. By committing to improving overall engagement, Bitdefender has aligned its community objectives with the organization’s goals. That focus has led to an increase in active users (up 121% from 2021), page views (up 54.3% from 2021) and new users (up 78% from 2021).
Industry Innovator- Matt Lawson, manager of online community programs at Genesys
Since the launch of the Genesys Online Community in 2018, Lawson has worked with his team to drive new ideas that keep community members engaged. As an example, Lawson pitched the idea for the Genesys Cloud Beta HQ. Through Beta HQ, community members (both Genesys customers and partners) can apply to participate in Beta and have opportunities to engage with beta managers, ask questions and follow the progression of specific Beta’s. This connection through community has provided much needed collaboration between the product management team and customers.
Most Valuable Community Champion – Foundant Technologies’ Executive Leadership Team
In March 2020, Foundant Technologies saw a long-term goal of creating a community come to fruition with the launch of Compass. Since the launch, Foundant’s executive leadership team has continued to make community a top priority by incorporating it into annual planning and building Compass into departmental team goals. In the last year, Compass reached more than 4,000 members and saw an average participation rate of 86%.
Most Valuable Community Manager – Brittney Wilson, BSN, RN, senior manager support communities at HealthStream
In 2019, Wilson laid the groundwork to launch a best-in-class support community, which came to fruition when the new HealthStream Community fully launched on February 14, 2020. A cross-functional community, the HealthStream Community impacts business outcomes across many areas within the company and has led to results such as a reduction in support cases, an increase in customer satisfaction, enhanced confidence in the buying process and product enhancement.
