AMA Queensland Uses Community To Connect In A Rapidly Changing World
The Opportunity
AMA Queensland has members spread across the state and members didn’t have a central hub for communication, resources, and connecting with their peers.
The Solution
AMA Queensland uses their Higher Logic online community - which integrates with their AMS - to bring members together and understand and respond to their needs.
A Private, Digital Space for Members to Connect
The Australian Medical Association Queensland (AMA Queensland) wanted to find a way for its members to connect and engage with the association and each other. They used Higher Logic Online Community to create a central hub for members where their privacy is protected: the Queensland Doctors’ Community (QDC). Members can now engage with their peers, the association, and AMA Queensland’s partners and sponsors whenever they want to.
Thanks to the conversations happening in the community, the association now has insight into trends and issues their entire member base cares about. With these insights, their members’ needs can truly drive their work. Plus, AMA Queensland’s AMS, iMIS, integrates with Higher Logic, giving them a 360-degree view of member data.
'A community should be a foundational starting point for every association – a central platform that’s safer and more intimate than social media, where members can communicate, and where they know the association will read and react to what’s being shared.'
